ASU-Beebe John Deere Agriculture Students Receive Scholarships


ASU-Beebe students in the John Deere agriculture equipment technology program recently received scholarships from John Deere.


ASU-Beebe students receiving scholarships were: Will Carmichael, Nate Weathers, and Eli Woodward. The students work for Greenway Equipment.


Jake Selvidge, director and advanced instructor for the John Deere agriculture equipment technology program at ASU-Beebe, said, “These scholarships can be used to purchase tools and equipment needed to start their careers this summer as full-time John Deere technicians.”


The John Deere agriculture equipment technology program is designed to prepare students to excel as technicians in the high-tech, fast-paced field of agricultural mechanization. Students who complete the two-year program are awarded an Associate of Applied Science in agriculture equipment technology.
